On March 14, 2026, the 21st China (Shandong) International Equipment Manufacturing Expo 2026 kicked off at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center. The show gathered over a thousand industry brands under one roof, with themed zones showcasing CNC machine tools, laser equipment, industrial automation, industrial robots, smart equipment, welding equipment, power transmission, and functional components, presenting the latest technologies and products across the board.

On the opening day, Shenzhen Han's Motor Technology Co., Ltd., together with DuoWei Laser, unveiled the DW3015C high-speed maglev linear-motor laser cutting machine co-developed by the two companies, making it one of the biggest highlights of the expo. The product combines Han's Motor's accumulated expertise in linear motors with DuoWei Laser's know-how in laser processing, representing the latest level of domestic high-end laser cutting equipment.

Panasonic Corporation announced it will invest approximately JPY 7.5 billion (about RMB 338 million) in its Panasonic Electronic Materials (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. in Huangpu, Guangzhou, to expand a new production line for MEGTRON multilayer substrate materials, with the line scheduled to go into operation in April 2027. This investment will further strengthen China's position in the global high-end electronic materials supply chain.

A series of industry forums and technical exchange sessions were also held during the expo, with in-depth discussions on hot topics such as smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and industrial robot applications, providing a valuable platform for exhibiting companies and professional visitors.
